Teamsters History Poster Series

The black and white images of these posters were flooded with a dull varnish, to give a softer, older look to them. The logo and type were all overprinted with a spot gloss varnish, to make them pop off the page, making the bold, translucent word on each poster seem to fade away from some angles, but then pop out when light reflects off of it.

Specifications: 24" x 36", four color process plus spot dull varnish and spot tinted gloss varnish.

Discuss how you want your piece to look with the printer.
In order to get the varnish effect I was looking for the printer and I had several discussions and looked at a variety of samples. The end product was exactly what I was looking for, and although it was a very expensive piece to print, it looked much better than it would have if I had not consulted the printer.
